We’re very pleased to announce that the Australia State of the Environment (SoE) 2021 website has been shortlisted for 2 categories (government and education) in the Australian Web Awards.
The awards recognise and celebrate best practice for Australian websites, assessing all aspects of sites including design, content and user experience.
The SoE website was developed by a multidisciplinary team of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water; the report authors; Biotext; and EY Digital.
The award application highlighted that the site ‘exemplifies the best-practice presentation of complex content, demonstrating how a website can present scientific content in an engaging way to meet the needs of several audiences. It also demonstrates the success of a collaborative and agile approach between government, environmental, content and web experts.’
The awards will be announced on 20 May 2023.
