Our research projects, conducted in partnership with Macquarie University, aim to improve our understanding of Australian readability needs and standards.
The first project has centred on health communication. Health-related information can affect people’s lives, so it’s important that we make sure that both patients and practitioners can understand the information they read. We have worked with Macquarie University researchers to examine health information in Australia and current tools used to check readability.
